'''''Star Fox''''' is a 3D scrolling shooter franchise made by [[Nintendo]]. The first game released on the [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System]] in 1993. The series revolves around anthropomorphic space pilots defending the Lylat system. The series was notable for being one of the first games using polygonal 3D on console. As of December 2019, the Star Fox franchise has sold over 11.65 million copies worldwide.
Star fox made a name for itself when it released as one of the first 3D games in 1993. Since then, it has been constantly technologically innovating. However, after Star Fox 64, this quickly fell flat on it's face. Star Fox 2 was packaged only with the SNES classic, and therefore did great. But since star link battle for atlas' release, it has fell flat again as it has been brought up with another game, which did horribly. But, we're all still rooting for fox. Especially when we're on a final destination 1V1
