The Neo Geo Pocket is SNK's handheld game console, launched in late 1998. Two updated versions were released. The Neo Geo Pocket Color and the Japan exclusive New Neo Geo Pocket Color both launched in 1999. The system competed with the Game Boy Color during the fifth generation of video games.
