A total of $395 million for Hardware. This is up 78% from 2013. For software, there was a total of $406 million, down 27% from from 2013. For Accessories, there was a total of $224 million, up 4% from 2013.
In terms of hardware, the Playstation 4 beat the Xbox One and rest of the competition. Both of the new consoles, for the first five months, have cumulatively doubled their predecessors. Aside from the Playstation Vita, the rest of the consoles were down from 2013.
In terms of software, the Xbox exclusive Titanfall tops the chart. With just one month of sales, it has the second-highest attach rate of any Xbox title thus far. However, the new launches are down 42% from the March 2013 sales. Despite falling to chart in the main list, Yoshi's New Island ranks as 10th highest by SKU. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is the highest PC title for the month.
