Overall

A total of $1.319 billion for Hardware. This is down 3% from 2020. For video game content, there was a total of $5.734 billion, flat with from 2020. For Accessories, there was a total of $493 million, down 9% from 2020.

In terms of hardware, the Nintendo Switch continued to be the highest selling platform in units while the PS5 was the highest in terms of dollar sales. The Xbox Series consoles took second place for units. All three platforms were hindered by stock shortages.
