Video Game Sales Wiki

Chrono is a role-playing game series developed and published by Square. It began with Chrono Trigger, released by Square originally for the SNES and later the PlayStation, Nintendo DS and mobile devices. It is often times regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time.

Chrono Trigger[]

On the Super Nintendo, Chrono Trigger sold 2.31 million copies. In Japan, it sold 2.03 million copies, while in America it went on to sell 289,000 copies. For the Nintendo DS version, the first day sales of the title in Japan were 176,000 copies sold, 46% of the initial shipment.
