Bayonetta is a hack & slash character action series developed by PlatinumGames and owned by Sega. The entries after the original were published by Nintendo. The game is a spiritual successor to Devil May Cry, with the series director being the first game's creator. The Bayonetta series has sold over 7 million units worldwide.
