Battlefield 3[]

Over 9 million users playing the Beta in September before the release. On the release date of Battlefield 3 in the USA, EA announced that pre-orders nearly hit 3 million which makes it the biggest launch in the history of EA. [14] Over 5 million copies of the game were sold in the first week which makes it "the fastest-selling game in EA's history." [15]

By the end of May 2012, the game shipped 15 million sold units.[16]
