The Ace Combat series, initially known as Air Combat, is a line of flight combat games by Namco. It was originally released in arcades, followed by a more popular release on the original Sony Playstation. The series consists of eight main entries, including a reboot, along with several other arcade and handheld titles. The series has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, with Ace Combat 7 being the best-selling title in the series.
